STUDENTS have performed a comedy show to raise money for charity. The Tresham College students at the Kettering campus wrote, produced and starred in the show, which was performed in front of staff and students to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The show managed to raise more than £150 for the cancer charity. Kim Hooper, performing arts tutor at the college, said: “I am so proud of our students – they have devised the production themselves and haven’t needed any help at all.
“The show was hilarious and the audience loved it. “They all have bright futures ahead of them in the performing arts industry.”The students have all just completed their BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. The show was the brainchild of student Cameron Conway, who will now be moving on to Southampton Solent University to study a degree in comedy, writing and performance in September.
