So much for faking it. "The Hills" may have required a good deal of acting, but that doesn't mean the cast is moving on to a Hollywood career. The original face of the MTV show, Lauren Conrad, doesn't appear to have any plans to act again. She has already kicked off her post-"Hills" career with several books, a clothing line and is reportedly turning her memoir, "L.A. Candy," into a movie, which she thinks should star former cast mate Lo Bosworth.

But Bosworth may be too busy channeling Gwyneth Paltrow to take her up on her offer. She is currently nesting with her new boyfriend and tending to her lifestyle Web site he actress just wrapped "Honey 2," which also stars Mario Lopez and revolves around a dancer released from juvenile detention who joins a dance crew.

"I'm still going to castings and still going to auditions for acting, definitely going to continue pushing for that," she told MTV. "I would love to do a [period] piece, like, medieval. I love 'The Tudors' and I love 'Troy' and those types of movies. So that's my dream."

Patridge also confirmed to the Daily News that she is shopping around her own reality series with producer Mark Burnett.

"It will be with another network, but I can't say anything about it yet," she said. "It will be different from 'The Hills.' It will be more about my life, behind the scenes."

Kristin Cavallari, who played the campus cutie in the 2009 sequel to "Van Wilder," told MTV that she may want to do some work behind the camera.

"I've enjoyed seeing the behind-the-scenes and how everything gets put together, the TV magic," she said of her time on "The Hills." "So I want to start producing. I've been pitching some shows and talking to some people about that. So, hopefully, right away, I can get one of those running, and then I want to keep acting. I would like that. I like being in charge and calling the shots."

Whitney Port has a leg up on Cavallari as she is already starring in a new reality series, "The City."

As for previous "Hills" cast members Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, they have been dabbling in various "artistic" endeavors since leaving the show half-way through the season.

Montag recently upgraded herself with several surgeries for a singing and acting career. Since then she has wrapped a cameo in Adam Sandler's comedy "Just Go With It" and tried to land Megan Fox?a>??s role in "Transformers 3," (British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was eventually hired).

The wanna-be actress was equally unsuccessful at landing the lead role in the next "Tomb Raider" installment.

Montag's music career has been slightly more successful. She released her debut album, "Superficial," on January 11 and recently tweeted that she is working on a new CD.

Estranged husband Spencer Pratt, who rapped on his wife's album, has been covering celebrity news on his new Web site, KingSpencer.com. He recently claimed to want to go back to school to study encryption so he can work for the American Defence Enterprises cyber-security arm.
